Open Doors, the two words that rocked Ashland University from it's foundation. This past year, I with the help of the AU Young Democrats started a group for education and tolerance between people of differing sexual orientations. Student Senate approved the group and Dr. G. William Benz (AU President) vetoed Student Senate. This is one prime example of how AU has lost track of it's purpose, meeting student needs.
